Mod works fine with patch 1.63
Mod works fine with patch 1.57
22 March 2013 Version 3.35 released

Warning:
This mod changes the muscle definition value of your sims.
This is a genetic feature and this mod has no functionality to undo the changes!

I lack input on how this mod performs for you. Please let me know in the comments. Thanks!

Ever wondered why your Sims don't get a sixpack no matter how much they work out?

The times of painted-on muscles are over!
From today on you will have to earn your sixpack!

You will have to work hard on them treadmills and muscle machines before you see any change. Jogging and swimming will not do any harm. If you like martial arts, go for that.

Muscle definition on a Sims body relies mostly on body fat percentage. But being skinny is not enough, you also need to have the muscles, and first of all: The skills!

And dont forget: Stay away from too much fastfood - that hard earned sixpack could be gone too soon

What this mod does
This mod looks at a Sim's weight, fitness and skill and calculates how defined the muscles should realistically appear. It then overwrites the "muscle definition" of the Sim. In other words it adjusts the slider that makes sixpacks appear or disappear. Yes, that's the one you know from the Create-a-Sim screen.
It will do this occasionally and silently in the background, or when you click "Update Sixpack" on a Sim. Depending on your settings.

By default this mod is inactive, you need to switch it on in the cityhall menu.

The Cityhall has a ConsortMod/Sixpack menu:

City Hall Options
(Also available at Base-Camp)
Auto-Updates OFF/ACTIVE for Townies
When active, the mod occasionally checks all Sims in your town (except your household) and overwrites the muscle definition if necessary. Occasionally means: When they are working out or when their weight or fitness has changed.

Auto-Updates OFF/ACTIVE for your Household
Just like the option above, but for all Sims who live in your active household. Check intervals are slightly shorter

Menu Entries on Sims VISIBLE/HIDDEN
When visible, every Sim (Teen and older) gets the "Update Sixpack" menu item.

All 3 items are toggles and get saved with your game.

Auto-Updates try to be smart, but first of all they do everything to be lazy. This means they do everything to delay or deny real updates to Sims until it's really necessary. The idea behind this is to not slow down your game. Ever.

Sim Menu
Update Sixpack (Has to be switched on in the city hall menu)
Calculates and updates the definition for the clicked-on Sim once and for this moment. It also displays a cool notice with cryptic information in the top right corner.
Use this for manually updating the Sims of your choice.

Hint: If you're missing this menu item on a Sim after playing for a longer period, just go to the cityhall menu and switch the Sim-menu off and on again.

Important:
The game has a bug that prevents muscle definition from being visible on topless/nude teens and elders. A fix is available here:

The Formula:

Compatibility:
This mod is a so called script mod and should work fine with a variety of basegame patch levels, past and future ones. Check with other users in the Comments section and read the annotations in the Downloads section.

Please understand that I can not test it with all past (and especially future) versions, so let other users know if the mod works fine with a version not specifically mentioned.

I am not aware of any other mod that causes incompatibilities.
