This beauty of Prairie architectural style could be yours if you can dig deep enough into your pockets!

Roughly one century ago not much existed in the area that surrounded the home we now know as Dwell Well. It was nothing but the forest, its floor, and an abundant host of flora and fauna that thrived in the shades of thick and towering pine trees. A very young boy who just so happened to blossom into that of a man took great interest in the study of this forest as each piece of it he considered a tapestry of life. That Sim's name was Manfred Well.

As time progressed Manfred's keen interest in the study of the forest grew into a certain affinity for the beautiful flowers that dotted like brightly coloured specks of paint on a green canvas. He loved all to do with flowers; their smell, colour, beauty and strangely enough even taste. We won't be touching base on that last little detail, however!

Manfred Well would carry on his venture in life to become a world renowned florist who tended to many greenhouses and nurseries. The rich and wealthy yearned for his beautifully grown flowers and often requested his bountiful bouquets to decorate their homes and be used in highfalutin events such as weddings and other elbow-rubbing, grip-and-grinning galas.

This left Manfred with quite a host of cash and not much else to do with it other than construct a beautiful home in no place he'd want one more, the forest. During the turn of the mid-century Manfred commanded a plot within the thick of it to call his own, thus the Dwell Well was erected.




Nowadays many consider the Dwell Well to be a unique and shining example of a study known as Prairie architecture. The low-lying roof, the clean cut horizontal lines and of course it's incorporation into the beauty of nature itself. Within the home exists an eclectic mix of mid-century modern and sparse art-deco design that Manfred was known to love.

The home itself is designed for entertaining with a lovely large living room and dining hall suitable to cater to a dozen or more! There lays a kitchen which has more counter space than you might know what to do with and even features its own fireplace! When it comes time to turn into the quiet hours a beautiful, peaceful library is found in the centre of the home. Access to a wet bar is just a stones throw away.




The entire upper level is dedicated to private rooms which may serve as a place of recluse from the busy day-to-day life downstairs. Three generously sized bedrooms share an upper level bathroom which might be fit enough for a king! Manfred's private study with his own flower assembly station can still be seen within one of the rooms.

Of course, what would be a Prairie-style home without its access to the beauty of nature? Step outside into the backyard and be reminded how much the woods can calm you and bring you to serenity. There even features a pool and spacious patio space which again would be great to host guests on.
