Not sure if this problem goes here ... but . . .

I downloaded S2PCI a couple of days ago.
Now I'm preparing to upload a lot to MTS. But S2PCI "swears" there are no packaged lots in that folder ... but there are. I've attached my 2 screen captures of what's going on.

How can I scan if S2PCI says there is nothing there? I have checked to make sure everything is pointing to the same folder, in the same place. It is. Any clues?

Sims2Pack Clean Installer has its own support forum. Moving... (as it does not belong in site issues)

Thanks ... frustration may have caused me to miss the proper forum

Okay what file format are those lots you have packaged in?

The 3 should be .sims2pack

Can you check?

So, nothing comes up when you open the package just exported out from the game?

In my experiences, when a corrupted repackaged sim2pack is saved, the resutant new package can be empty like this. In my cases, they're caused by some non-English characters or symbols like "&. But, I'm not sure your case is caused by that.

By the way, to try to re-edit the last post instead of making a new one when no newer post is after is more preferred.

You may want to search the old thread "Sims2Pack Clean Installer" with "Search this Thread" option at the top right side, under the page numbers, left to the rating (with 5 stars)

to see if someone has similar experience(s) there.

No

I'm not sure what you mean by that. all I did was add a post to my original thread, which is netiquette in other forums. But if it's not here, I will try to remember that.

Thanks I will look there ... but if Delphy didn't refer me there in the first place ... well my problem may be unique ;)

I need help. I have installed and uninstalled the clean installer for like 10 times now but it keeps on giving me this message. "Debugger not found." What is a debugger and what should I do for the clean installer to work?

Could someone lend me a hand?

I have Installed a previous version of Sims2Pack Clean Installer, Unistalled it from Control Panel and downloaded the newest version. When I try to install the new version, I keep getting this:
"A previous version of Sims2Pack Clean Installer You have to uninstall the old version first! Do you want to do it now? Yes/No "

No matter which button I click, nothing happens. I cannot find the program on my computer and therefore I cannot try to uninstall it anymore.

Any suggestions?

Roseisred - If you edit a sims2pack file with cleaninstaller to leave out a few hacks and things, you have to save it with a NEW filename. If you try to save it as itself you get an empty folder. DK if that is what is going on with you, but if not, maybe the info will come in handy another time. Good luck.

Jenna - have a search in that long closed thread.. That debugger thing came up there - I remember it. Did you get all the NET files downloaded that cleaninstaller needs? might have been to do with that.

Ixchel - I think you probably still have an entry in the registry for cleaninstaller. If you have a registry cleaner run it. If not, check the registry or ask someone you trust to do it.
