I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but here is mine i set up a business from home selling toys, i made side building for the shop, but my problem is that when the shop is open all my customers go into my house watch telly eat my sims food etc so how do i stop them from entering into the house.

With the walls up in live mode, click on the doors in your house and lock them for all but employees/family. And turn on game help tips and flip through your manual, too. :)

Is this a function of all doors now? I didn't know you could do this. Also, does it work for more than one person or is it like the locked door for the dorms (which is the one I'm using now)?

Try the options on them. There's like... family, employees/family, nobody, one sim... I'm not sure all of 'em, but it should work at least on all Maxis doors. Not sure about custom ones.
