Hi,

I'm not a native speaker... So, I will do a lot of mistakes :giggler:

Today I started my sims game ( I have all EPs) and put my sim (Lucien) on a hostel... okay.
But then I saved my game and turn back to the neighbourhood and my game crahed. (Saving was not complete)
After restarting the hostel (Maxis hostel) disappered and also my prefered sim :mad: My sim also isn't in the sims ton :insane:

Is there any way to get him back?

It definitely sounds like the 'save game' file is corrupted badly enough so that the game cannot read it any more. You could try using Sim PE to see if your sim's character file is still there- or a 'transporter' object like one of Simlogical's devices to see if you could transport the sim to another lot.

Other than that the only way to get the sim back would be to restore a backup, if you have one. If you don't, you could back up any sims you make in future so that this doesn't happen again.

Can you 'teleport' the sims to a different lot using either the testing cheats or one of the hacked teleporter objects?

Sorry, but I don't know what the tester cheat or telepoter obejct is :( Sorry.
Where could I find them and how should I use them?

Download the insimenator from www.insimenator.net. This works great and is compatible with the EP's you have.

Doesn't SimPE give the option to move a sim in with a family?

I've added a sim like that before overpacking the lot and the next time I opened the lot, the sim was there.

da**. I didn't get the teleporter object, cause I was ill. :(

I didn't understand the insiminator thing :( Don't know which one I have to download and how to use it.

Mutantbunny: How could I move my sim to a family?
I want to move him with his 3 brother and sister into a hostel.

You need to ask questions about the insiminator at the insiminator forum.
You could also use the testing cheats to summon the sim:

Moving a sim into another family has to be done in neighbourhood view, and the sim you are moving in needs to be in the sim bin. I don't think that would apply here.
