I have a problem on a lot where the walls won't cutaway.
I just moved the family in and added used furniture they had in their inventory, but there are no hacks as far as I know.
I removed them from the lot, bulldozed it, placed the lot again and it was marginally improved.
The walls upstairs are now fine. Downstairs I can have walls up or down but for cutaway they still won't adjust and obviously I can't see around the house properly for gameplay.
Anyone else had this problem? Any ideas on how to solve it?

Does this happen on all lots, in all neighbourhoods?

This is just on one lot, one neighbourhood. It has never happened before anywhere in my game. Although the lot is a download from a reputable builder and contains some laurana interior fences (which I know do not cutaway), I have a whole series of similar buildings and each allow cutaway as normal. I'm stumped.

If you delete a section of wall, and then replace it, does the cutaway then work?

No. I tried that already.
Actually, I have just had a message from the original builder so I will discontinue this enquiry...
Update:
Problem solved! I thought you might like to know what caused it for future reference -
The builder used an interior fence to create a glass veranda instead of a wall with windows.
By removing a small section of interior fence and putting up a wall with windows/doorway to close off the fence veranda from the rest of the house, the cutaway facility returned.
Actually it was not the main veranda that was the problem (I had removed and rebuilt that to find the problem). It was a small partition/screen between the main body of the house and the veranda itself. The bit I thought was harmless. lol!
By the way, thanks for looking into this!
