Does this game EVER work for anyone?

It crashes EVERY time I try to load a lot even if I try to start one in an empty neighborhood. (Mind you, this is just the BASIC game as it comes - NO downloads of any kind.) I've tried to play this game on other people's computers and the same thing happened. There's absolutely no way, no how to get into a lot and play. Why doesn't it work??

Nah, we just made this whole site and all these downloads and stuff to fool you. It never actually works. :wtf:

Seriously though, of course it works! It can be glitchy, but we wouldn't have been around for two years without it working at all for anyone.

1. Are the lots you're trying to load premade ones placed in the neighborhood, ones in the lot bin you've placed, blank lots you're trying to load?
2. What happens when it crashes, and exactly what point does it crash at? Do you get an error message?
3. What are the specs on the computer(s) you're trying it on?
4. Is this just the base game, or the base game plus EPs?
5. Are you running via any emulation software, or do you have any running at the time?

Are you trying to install the game on other peoples computers to see if *your* disks don't work correctly or are you saying that everyone elses copies crash as well?
