Remove cars from neighborhood view

Is there any way to remove the traffic in the neighborhood view? I have a medieval town. Cars, trucks, and buses just don't fit! I tried the cheat to remove the roads, but the vehicles just drive on the grass.

These cheats may help:
boolprop carsCompact (True/False): switches cars on or off in NH view
boolprop displayNeighborhoodRoadsWithModel (True/False): Shows or hides road bridges
boolprop displayNeighborhoodRoads (True/False): Shows or hides the roads.

Have already tried both of those. Neither gets rid of the cars themselves.

Actually, I think the 'cars compact' one only alters the detail level of the cars... there doesn't seem to be one for specifically turning off the cars. Perhaps someone has made a hack for this?
