Package Manager help

I just installed Uni and Nightlife and now my package manager won't work. Everytime I try to install a package, it says "A required resource was not found. Please re-install Package Manager." I put the original sims dvd back in and pulled the Package Manager off it and put it in the folder where the corrupt one was, and it didn't help. Does anyone know anyway to fix this or any other program I can use to install package files?

Did you install the patches too? Then I believe you need to reinstall NL for the Package Installer to work.

And where have you installed the game? Make sure it's where Aspyr recommends, in a /Games folder directly off the Macintosh HD. Make sure you have all the patches installed, even if you don't have an Intel Mac. They do more than make the game a Universal binary.
