Wants and Fears Don't Show

I'm sorry if this was posted before, I looked and didn't find it so I'm hoping his isn't a repeat. OKay, after reinstalling my game on my computer after a serious problem and getting rid of a problem file I noticed that when I played it afterwards the wants and fears of my sims were not showing. I held the mouse over them and still nothing. So what can I do to get them back again? I have Nightlife and Glamour Life if it helps.

This could be because of a hack conflict. First, backup your entire My Docs/EA Games/Sims 2 folder then go through the steps in this faq: http://www.modthesims2.com/article.php?t=139718

OKay, I did that and half of them are showing up, but not all of them? Should I repeat the FAQ? The only hacks I have now are ones I've had before and never caused me any problems.
