USING SIMPE for 1st time

am using simpe for first time........i looked up the tutorial on how to use. but its sounds complicated.

what i want to do, is take some pics i have on my computer and convert them into paintings for my game......

If you mean you want to make recolors of the regular paintings in game, you can use this (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=95015) tutorial which is specifically for recoloring paintings, or this (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=102356) one, which is a method for recoloring any objects.
