Hey, I had this simple or impossible idea about making motive decay slower. Unfortunately I know very little about scripts and mod making for the Sims 2, so I’m asking all of you who know.
I was wondering if it’s possible to create a custom object, that runs a script, that turns the cheat “motiveDecay” on and off in game using a mod script?
Example:
After X amount of seconds (game time), when the user turns on the object, it automatically turns off motive decay. Then X amount seconds after that it turns it back on, then loops the script until the object is turned off.
The script would set it to be on for X amount of time, and off for a different "selectable" amount of time (from the object) to simulate slower/faster decay.
It seems like an easy concept, but I know that doesn’t mean it's possible. If this is worth trying I am eager to start some modding tutorials to work up to this! Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks,
Fred
