Is it possible to pull textures of sim clothes?

Hi. I've been following the tutorials on how to recolour sim clothing and how to use textures and I was wondering if it was possible to take a texture from one outfit and using it on another one.

For example I want to use the texture on the salior girl outfit and use it on the toddler dress that came with free time.

If it will help I'm using GIMP 2.0.

Its possible to just directly link textures between teens, adults, and elders. For children and toddlers however, you need to make a new texture for it because they are different sizes and scales. Doing this is the same as making any outfit the regular way. You can copy and paste the texture you want to use in, but you will have to do all the resizing and scaling by hand.
