Fluffy Cats

For a while, it looked like we wouldn't be able to have long-hair cats: most of the screencaps just showed short-hairs like burmese, ocicats, and tabbies. But I was just looking at some more recent pictures I've seen around the net, and noticed a few little interesting things that suggest we may be able to create long-haired cats, such as Norwegian Forest Cats.

Look at the manx in the bottom right corner. Its chest looks rather puffy and textural, compared to the others.

And the tail of the cat in this screencap looks like the raccoon tail on Davey Crockett's hat!

Do you think this will be all we're capable of when it comes to making furrier cats?
Or do you think we'll have more (eg: scruff for necks and bellies, tufts for ears and cheeks, and other misc bits and pieces like dogs have)?

If anyone has any other pictures that show long-hair cats in Pets, it would be appreciated. I'm very curious about this!

i hope we have more form what they showed for making dogs they could have little extra scrufs of hair on their face and what not so maybe we can so that with cats too? i want a big puff ball of a cat and my cat is sorta in between shot and long hair so i want to be able to make him too =]

i susspect it's 'fur accessories' like the dogs you can place them a beard.

I recond it is a fur peice called deep chest or something, and bushier tail and all that sort of this, otherwise it will take longer for maxis to produce, and with only 15 cat species in the game, i am suspecting that they want us to make our own rather than loose there time :P

yes.... probably will be contained in the game though, but im sure people could make different versions

Yeah, I think I said somthing about Fluffy cats in that training paper- I love fluffy cats, they'll probally have them.
Don't they have Persians? those are fluffy.

Hi, I found these on youtube so there might be a raccoon in game. I really wish they include furrier cats, because the birman I see in those pics just looks like a freshly shaved version of my real cat. Hope at least these won't leave hair! :)

Oh, I hope we have fluffy cats! It'd be awesome if sims were allergic to fluffy cats and would sneeze and stuff if they owned one!

I think the tail will be selected from a few tail options, like the dog tails are.
But yes, I think the chest may be a fur accessory. Hopefully, there are more fur abilities than just these! I really want a fluffy cat. :(
