dissapearing gardener

Hi. I was having a problem with the gardener. I hired her, she came one day, and then stopped coming. I can't fire her because the gardener option has disappeared from the phone menu. This is annoying, because I really want the wishing well and my sims are too busy to garden themselves. Does anyone know what's going on?

but to have a quick wishingwell you can spawn one with Boolprop

Get the daily gardener hack from MATY and see if that gets the gardener back?

When I need a quick garden fix, I usually just have the sims do a all nighter- with refreshing greens constantly until the yard is done. Or I spawn a servo using Insim- he will do it all with little to no fuss.
