Stupid question? Need some help.

Hi. I got BV for Christmas and actually had the balls to install it today. Well, I have beef with it already, as I knew I would. What in the WORLD is up with you not being able to control the sims you take with you on vacation? Is there a cheat to override this? I've looked, but haven't had luck with it yet. Input is appreciated!

Use the pets cheats:

"boolProp petActionCancel true" and
"boolProp controlPets on" :)

Ahmahfog, are you serious? I thought about using it, and then I was like "naaaah, they wouldn't have been THAT stupid." I was pwned by EAxis. How sad.

ha funny. i never noticed that issue because i added those two cheats to my startup cheats when i got pets

Thats the same as with the Holiday expansion for Sims 1, I've found this one to be a lot better though. Although you can't control them they at least look after their own needs and go to the loo and things.

In the Sims 1 version they followed the controlable sims arround like sheep and wet themselves if your did not direct your controlable sim to go and stand by the loo and wait for ages. (In fact I never got it to work, my mum is still playing sims 1 and told me recently that this was the only way she could get them to use the loo).

I've only played Bon Voyage a couple of times so far (I got it on Christmas Day but did not play it until a few days later), but even though you can't control sims that accompany you on holiday I find this version is far better to play than the Sims 1 Holiday expansion.
