The Buzz...From Reonia, My Sister.

This is me, at my old house. I remember that day like it was yesterday. Reonia's boyfriend, Dean moved out. Reonia and I also moved out. My mom was a recovering alcoholic and the death of her father didn't make it any better. She was drunk one night and Reonia and I had a big argument with Mother over nothing. Mother was going on a rampage, so we decided to move out. I was never really close to Reonia, not because she was the oldest, but I never had an interest in her. I guess I took her as a joke. Anyway, we now live in Newbury, a teeny little suburb south of Pleasantview.

Later That Night

"Aww, Aina, you'll do fine here. It's nice and quiet, plus, the good thing about it is that mom doesn't even know we're here."
"How can you say that? You haven't even researched this place! Who knows, this could be a small town where a manic killer lives!"
"You and that big imagination...you'll be able to put that thing to use at Summer School!"
"SUMMER SCHOOL!? Woman, are you crazy? All I wanted was to have a summer full of bliss!"
"Calm down, besides, it's an art program. I know how much you love art!"
"Whatever..."

She put me in summer school! But why, Dean is about thirty miles away..so she won't be seeing him anytime soon, and Madeline is just a baby, she's easy to take care of, especially with my help! I think the fumes from her engine are causing her to lose some blood cells...

The Next Day

Today we played a game of SSX 3, and she was rambling on how she met our new neighbor, Gayle. She's old and single, and she happens to have a son, my age...so Reonia says. Hopefully he's in that summer program thingy too....

Everything's Okay.

This morning the phone rang. Reonia answered and it turns out that it was mum. My heart stopped for a second when Reonia mouthed 'It's mum' towards me. All sorts of thoughts went through my head. How did she get our number?, Does she have the address? and Why is she calling? Reonia kept the conversation short...

"Hello, Reonia?"
"Mum? Why are you calling?"
"Well, I wanted to check on you two and see how you're managing out in a different city. Where are you?"
"Mum, we're fine. And, you don't need to know where we are. We're safe."
"Why are you doing this to me?"
"Oh, don't make it seem like you're the victim, you know Aina and I are!"
"But, I'm sober..."

Reonia hung up the phone. Apparently, she was tired of listening of Mum's lies. Reonia and stood and thought about who could possibly have given her the number.

The first name that popped into my head was Dean, Reonia's ex. She had to have spoken to him in the past few days, and he could have gotten the number off the Caller ID.

Aside from that issue, I chatted with some locals to see if they knew about our new neighbors. It's only been a few days, but they haven't bothered to call or visit. I wonder if they're hiding something...

Thanks. I'm having a hard time getting the pics together. My game keeps crashing...so, it'll be a little time, since it crashed before I saved this morning.

Today I actually decided to get outside and work out. I could have done it inside, but I didn't want to waste seeing Mystery Man get a look at my buns! Anyway, it was quiet on the street and no one really stopped by. There was only one my age, though.

She looked tacky. Sorry to be judgmental, but it is the truth. She was wearing an ugly purple top and some old, dusty looking green shorts. Somebody call the fashion police!

"Hi. I'm Ivy. You are?"
"Aina Bardou. Nice to meet you."
"You're the new girl right?"
"Yeah..I guess so. Have you heard anything about the new neighbors that just moved in?"
"Yeah. A middle aged woman and her son moved here."
"I know that part, anything about her son?"
"Not really, he's a hot brown head tough. I gotta go. See you around."

Hmm..how brown head, eh? So, I have some Idea of what he looks like. Hopefully I'll see him at school...

Last day of summer school..yay! I was sitting at the table with Chayse, a friend I recently met, and h-hh-him. Brent Lawrence. Jackpot! This is the guy I've been looking for. He had came for only today so he could meet some new people. After that 'class' was over, I took him out to the courtyard and we uh...talked.

"Not much. I just moved here about a week ago."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Woa. Well, maybe we could explore this town together sometime..with Chayse. She seems nice."
"Yeah, we should..."

He is too cute! That shaggy brown hair...that darling smile! I'm so glad I went to school today! I'd be happy to be seen with him!

Is this the end? I just want to drown...erase all thoughts of him...and his little girlfriend, far, far away. Sadly enough, I give up. The weeks we spent together meant nothing..and that kiss...all lies.

Yeah, this is the end. It's short cause my game is getting a little buggy and people weren't commenting after I updated. Once I build my new PC, hopefully I'll make a sequel.. :(
