The sim. It's a 3d object, and hard to judge if you got it right from a single front shot.

Well, his eyes are the wrong shape for one, so you're probably going to need to use some sort of eye shadow to get the right shape. Also, i think you need a difrent skin. The real MJ had no frekles that i can see from either pics, and the his nose had turned into such a unique shape, i honestly feel like you're at least going to have to make a speical nose mask for him. And we do need a side view of both the sim and MJ. Also, his pupils are too big... he has small little black eyes.... the color on your sim is right, but they need to be smaller, and rounder...

I think that for now he looks quite good... I personally don't like Michael Jackson but you sould do what Wicked poppies suggested, i think that's what he needs. :)

I would like to see you use images of him before he looked so sick. Like from five to ten years ago. First off in the real photos you can see that his face is sickly thin. That's not how I want to remember the King of Pop.
In other photos: He does have high cheek bones, but his face is wider through the jaw. He use to have light freckles (as a child), but with the lighting of his skin he doesn't have them any more. His nose was surgically altered so it's pinched on the sides and tipped at the end. Not as wide as it was some 15 years ago. His eyes have always been on the sleepy side, but I think you have captured them in color. He wore heavy eyeliner that is not shown clearly in the two real photos you have of him. The top lip of your look-a-like needs to be just a tiny bite fuller. You have captured his chin dimple perfectly. And his eyebrows. Your look-a-like's skin color could be less pasty. A more natural peach color. The ears thankfully are normal. Hair: it's hard to see which you choose, but you want feed back on the face and so that's what I've tried to give.
Micheal Jackson was a wonderful singer, but a crazy person. He'll be missed by his family and close friends. Fans will morn, but his music will live on in their MP3 players.

Simlifegirl, I won't start an argument but personally I don't think he was crazy, only pushed to extremes by pressure from fans, the media and the general public.

Believe me, straightroad, I don't want to fight either, but poor Micheal he had so many issues, especially after his court trials. He use to laugh and smile and was so soft spoken. I like his music (even though my family hates it, so what). The new picture you posted is the Micheal I like. Not the first two. We lost so many stars this week, Ed Mcmahon, Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays, Micheal... it's not over, soon we are going to loose a wonderful actor... Patrick Swayze. It's so hard to loose people that are in the public eye... :cry:

I don't wanna "beat" anyone in anything; in fact, I made this sim one day after Michael died and had pics of his sim in my profile; I think straightroad can make a wonderful version of him too and I don't see why she is supposed to give up only because I made my version.
MTS has several sims from the same celebritie from differents creators, so i don't see why you guys are making a drama out of it...

I think you should make your version too, 80's or not, doesn't matter.
I have a version of him younger but i didn't like it..
It didn't "spoke to me" you know?
When i make a sim and put it in game, I have to look in his face and really "feel" the person talking to me trough the sim; it may sounds crazy, but it how it works for me.

She didn't download him, she uploaded him, and i'm not sure if you realize this, but you can dress him how you want.... just because she didnt dress him how you like in the pics dosent mean you cant. The face is what's so remarkable anyways.... She just decided to take some arty pics of him for the preview, and i happen to like them myself..... It's not realy nice to insult somones work, and especialy if it isnt the subject matter of the feedback thread.

Straightroad, I love the idea of a MJ from the "Bad" period. This is going to be great, because we'll have some variety. I personaly found him very attractive then. I supose this means you'll be giving him a slightly darker complexion? I'll keep an eye out for a good hair for him.... something long and kinda curly?

I have to agree with everyone, a Micheal Jackson from the 'bad' 'Thriller' period would be lovely (thats how i will always picture him in my mind) He was so good looking then and so less troubled, (sniff sniff)

It's look good. Maybe just a little more in on the cheeks making them stick out. If you could add dimples that would be cool. Then add a dint to the chin. The nose in the photo graph shows MJ at maybe post surgery. It's a much nicer nose. Fuller at the the edges, unlike your Sim. The eyes are so him. So haunting. I like the little puffiness you added under them and the long eyelashes. You know what made me mad about the real Micheal Jackson... he lightened his skin. What was wrong with his birth color? Nothing.

1. He had his nose worked on. Twice already in that picture.
2. He had vitiligo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitiligo). The skin pigmentation cells were faulty and started dying off so he lost color in his skin.

Don't get all huffy at him for believing that tabloid trash.

No, i honestly belive he had both vitiligo, and skin bleaching, because doctors have said that vitiligo wouldent cause such even lightening of the skin.... and if he had it bad, i dont blame him for bleaching the rest of it so it wouldent look as odd... however, this is all just speculation..... and honestly it dosent matter.

Anyways, i thought you where making him from the "Bad" Erra? He looks too pale for that part of his life... maybe not.... maybe i'm thinking of thriller...

I think he looked better when he looked healthy. And he looked fairly healthy when he was in thriller. I think it's best that we refrain from talking about what he did, or did not have done to his face, because it would most likely spark some kind of debate. LOL The fact is, when he was younger, he had a larger nose, and darker skin. Over the years, both changed. Straightrd,would you mind to post some more pics of him from the period from which you're trying to make him resemble?

I think your first try (the recent years MJ) was very good too.

Here are my suggestions on the "Bad" era one: his jaw needs to be more square. It has always been like that. And then... his cheekbones maybe a bit lower? Right now the sim's face looks smooth and rounded like of a doll, but Michael's features were angled. Also his nose might need to be a bit shorter. If I squint my eyes and look at both images it's easy to tell that in the photo his nose is shorter in relation to the whole face length: it's about the same length vertically as his mouth area (from nose to chin). Your sim's nose is longer than the mouth area.

Otherwise, I really like it. :)

That is the "Bad" era. It seems to me, anyway. It might just be the lighting in the pic, though.

But Straightroad, so far he looks AWESOME! Can I suggest that you

-make his nose tip a bit smaller and more narrow
-tilt the eyes down a bit

but he looks great. I really can't wait!

Wow, that's great. Just awesome. Vera's is great too, the more the merrier! I loved him in "Bad". He was so cute.
I think you could point his nose up just a little bit. And maybe make the top lip a little thinner? The mouth shape is really good though! And the bridge of his nose a bit thinner, too.
The eyes on your sim are really close to the real thing.

It looks good, but I think the eyes ought to be scaled down a just little.
Also the skin/bags under his eyes don't really go with his overall complextion, maybe you could soften it, or his skin.

Okay, make his top lip thinner 3 clicks. The skintone needs to be a bit darker, the nose needs to be higher like two clicks, the eyeliner needs to be heavier and the eyebrows need to be bushier! :3 There isn't much to it after that, it should look almost ready for upload... Have you thought about what hair your using. More then likely I missed the hair and went on to this. Anyway, his nose also needs to be pointier. :3

"Thriller" may be the most perfect Halloween song, so why not dress up like Michael Jackson in this video? Unfortunately, save for expensive yellow contacts, pulling off the trademark yellow cat eyes might be a challenge, although strategically coloring in a Michael Jackson mask might achieve something close. An easier way to achieve the Thriller look is with some pasty makeup in a greenish or yellowish shade. The outfit for the video is the red pleather jacket look, but torn up zombie style.
