Less Effective Parenting (help needed)

So I'm pretty good at parenting sims so that I always get to choose their traits when they age up. This is kind of annoying, as I'm too weak willed to pick some of the more oddball ones, so I wanted to get rid of the ability to choose these and make it so that it just (usually) picks better ones if you do a good job raising the kids. If anyone can point me towards which files I should be poking around in for how to change this I would greatly appreciate it!

So i believe i just found the files you need to look through, but of course they are huge files to look through. In the gameplay package there are two files named "My Baby and Toddler" and "My Child and Teen". Hope what you are looking for is in there.
