View Full Version : Qortex poster recolors - show correctly in SimPe, but red cross in game

I made some recolors for Qortex big posters ( http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=45647 ), but although everything seems fine in SimPe, in game they're just a red cross. I'm not new to recoloring at all but I never encountered this issue:

I did this recolors like I did a couple of hundred times before (though I haven't used these meshes so far):
- open OW
- create recolor
- export texture
- build DXT with new texture
- commit and save

A few minutes ago I experimented with just cloning it (but forgot to assign a new GUID). That worked in a way... Now my clones thumbnail appears in the catalog instead of the original, but apart from that it's like a normal recolor: A recolor I made for the clone works normal, as well are all recolors of the original mesh available (including the problematic original recolors still showing a red cross).

So, to sum up: Recoloring Qortex posters the usual way doesn't work, but cloning and recoloring the clone works perfectly fine? :blink: I don't think that's the way it's supposed to be, please help my cluelessness!

EDIT: Ok, I found a work around: When I remove the clonemesh from my game, the original mesh can still use the clonemesh-recolors, so I can go on with my project. But still, that's a weird problem.
