I am currently playing with a family that has 2 children. The younger one is toddler so I cant tell what their body shape is yet. However the older one is quite chubby looking....My plan is to have 5 or 6 children, but is it likely that all of them will be fat as well? I am playing with a medieval-ish poor family so it doesnt really fit into the story mode if the children look really wellfed. The parents are normal, though the father perhaps slightly larger than average (its mostly muscle).

Also, am I right in saying that in Sims 3 once you are playing you there is no category your sim is in, like fat, normal, or skinny? You can only tell by their weight? Is it possible to lose or gain weight or is their bodyshape simply based on genetics? :|

Just because one child is fat doesn't necessarily mean the rest will be, although there is probably a higher chance that they will be, since there's obviously some form of fat gene floating around in that family.

And yes, there isn't one category, since the weight is now so versatile.
You can loose weight, but without a mod, most people have said their fat sims may loose the weight and go to bed skinny, but will wake up fat again.

You'd have to have the toddler, once he/she reaches child-age, exercise in order to lose weight. As long as they don't stuff their faces afterward, the weight should remain a constant.

When you compare the male and female sliders, having a woman with zero muscle and some fat produces a woman with anice shape but a bit of a fat male teen.

In generally the shapes on growing up are a bit messed up. Male teens have extremely wide hips compared to their YA versions.
