Hi
I found a Nice tutorial by eternyti8 on the sims site (see address below).
I tried it, but I wanted 3 or 4 walls glass. I made a 3 glass walled pool and a fouth wall and a platform with no house. But I have had some problems when the sims use it. First there were ditches in the pool and they couldn't get out. So I flattened the pool floor. Then they kept wanting to use the stairs on the outside of the "room" so I moved the stairs. Then they swam in the ground and in between the walls on the 4th side. I thought a house around the pool might help with 4 walls glass and a second floor for the ladder and diving board. I got her to go in and out a couple times then got her interestied in something else but he didn't get out like she did and still swims in the ground top and bottom floor. I tried making him get out and even use tolet, chair, phone but he swam to them.
Does anyone know how to fix it or what I did wrong? :help:

I've looked through the tutorial and it doens't seem to create the permantent 'swim-mode' issues I'm most familiar with, but have you tried sending them to a community lot? Sometimes when they stop swimming in the ground when they return.

Thank you Faeroen for your response
I have not., but I will try that.
I hoped by getting them interested in something else might do it but it did not.

follow up
I tried to take them to a community lot. They would not get in the cab or in a car. I had him call a cab twice they would not get in. I gave them a bathroom but they still would not get it the cab. I gave them a car they would not get in, most of the time no action was available for the car. I tried till it was dark and they complain of being hungy. I can get them to go swimming 2 or 3 times getting in and out then they swim all the time. They do get body points for it too.

The problem is that the game thinks that the pool and the ground are the same level. Somewhere you must have gotten that "iffy" with the CFE cheat. The pool looks like it should work; pool is on ground level and they get in on the 2nd floor technically, but for some reason the game thinks the dive platform is on the same level as the pool.

I don't know what to tell you to fix it since I don't know your process in building. Try using the leveling tool with the CFE cheat and go over the different levels again is my suggestion.

Another thought is that the lot may be glitched from using the CFE cheat. It happens. Things can get "wonky" sometimes.

To get the Sim out of the ground you'll have to use the moveobjects on cheat and delete them, save, then when you reenter they'll be at the mailbox.
