Trouble with gems

I'm having trouble finding the new gems. I've smashed dozens of space rocks on the board smasher and only have gotten base game gems. The only thing I find in China (I admit I've not looked around the other 2 for gems/metals yet) is space rocks. So is my game glitched?

The new gems are all over the place in the 3 new locations. If you want to make it eaiser to find them, have your sim buy the collection helper life time reward, its 40,000 points, but really worth it. When you activate it, you pick what it will show you, where all the gems and rocks are, where seeds are, where bugs and insects are, or where fish are.

I have that reward and the only things coming up on the metal/gem setting are space rocks.

I've found a lot of gems in the tombs. Sometimes they've been in the treasure chests or sometimes they've been at the bottom of a cleared rock pile.

Did you find any of the new gems in the tombs (Jade Lazis Luplis etc.), I'm stuck on the part of the Pangu axe adventure where you need gems and they want one of the new types.

Yes, they are there. Also, up in the hills.

I figured out my problem. It was a mod. {boy I feel kinda dumb it was that easy.} :lol:
