If this should be attached elsewhwere please do so I'm new to all this and this is my first post !!
Producing a low wall for Sims 3 by DominicRed

I don't know if anyone else has found this one. this technique produces a wall the same size as the decking.
it is a bit long winded I'm afraid.

1. Create a length of decking where you want the wall to go. As yet I cannot find a way to join it onto a full size wall, maybe the levelelevation cheat will do it !!

2. Put a length of full size wall on top.

3.Delete the decking from below using the decking tool.

4.Create a second wall using the shadow from the first wall. I found it took a while to get it in the right place.

5.Recreate the decking beneath the full size wall.

6.delete the full size wall using the wall tool and finally remove the decking using the decking tool.

7. your wall is now ready to decorate.

I may be misunderstanding, but to me that just sounds like a very roundabout way of creating a regular wall leveled down to a height of 4 clicks .. yes? If that's what you want, a faster way would be

- build a wall
- enter constrainfloorelevation false
- build a foundation next to the wall (which will level the wall to 4 clicks = foundation height)
- enter constrainfloorelevation true
- delete the foundation.

Inside a house, you can also use roof walls as half walls (those do connect with regular walls). Build a shed roof, delete the side walls, use the roof slope angle to adjust the height of the front wall.
