Hacked Object not showing up right

I hacked one of the pacifiers on this site to show for young adults, but it shows as a thumbnail in game but nothing else. The pacifier doesnt show in the mouth of whoervers using it. Any ideas why?

Hmm, I figure that the head is a different size, and I wonder if that might have something to do with it. Have you tried manoevering the camera to the INSIDE of the Sim using the pacifier, to see if it is hiding inside the head?

if thats the case, how would i fix it?

The only thing I can think of off-hand is to load the mesh into a 3D editor, and MOVE the whole thing away from the head far enough to show. There may be other ways, easier ways, but if so, I`m unaware of them at the moment.

do sims 2 3d files work in blender?

I don`t know how much processing they need, but they *can* be transfered from the game into Blender and back again. Again, I don`t know how much trouble it would be to do so; I only know that it is *possible*. I would direct your attention to the Meshing Tutorials section for further information.
