Dunno if anyone else has made a challenge like this, there is no theft in this challenge.
The object of this challenge is to make your life miserable. (:
Kidding, but it is hard and meant for only those who have Apartment Life.
The "story base": You and your wife love children, and over the years you've managed to accumulate six of them. But when tragedy strikes, and your father dies, leaving you hundreds of thousands of unpaid bills and nothing else, you two fall into debt, and only recently earned $1,000, after living on the streets so long, you decide that it's best this money goes to cheap housing. (This will have to be the cheapest apartment you can find. No exceptions.) At the end and in the middle of every week a collection agent stops by, and takes everything from you, except $1,000 (3,000 if you've accumulated more than 10gs that week.)
In CAS create a family. Two parents, any way you like, and six children. One teen, three children, and two toddlers. And in the neighborhood view dock their family funds to 8k. (This leaves 1k for every family member.) Then rent an apartment. Remember, it has to be as cheap as you can find, and you cannot build it yourself. (But I don't care if you download it.) What ever money you have left over is yours to spend on furniture and the like. A helpful hint is to pinch pennies, immensely.
Da Rulez Mon.
NO cheating for anything other than to take away your cash every Tuesday & Friday. This includes motive, money, deleting homework and mailboxes or bills, deleting anything broken, or anything else. It makes you a cheater, and it deflates the challenge. D:
One parent has to stay home, no exceptions, or else you'll lose the toddlers and children.
No nanny, maid, butler, gardener, exterminator, or repair men. You're poor, those are for rich people. (Plus the landlord does a great deal for you.)
No aspiration gifts can be used. (I.E. Money tree or love tub.)
You may do anything in your free time to earn extra cash. Selling crafted stuff, painting and selling masterpieces etc.(No family business. You're poor.) But as stated earlier, you may not cheat to get the skill points in any way.
All homework must be done, no exceptions. You may chose to get your teen a job.
No sims may leave the house until both parents have died. Sad but true.
The challenge and debt ends if the social worker comes, or when the toddlers become teens, and everyone else has either left or stayed behind. Maybe make a family out of them. (:
It will be extremely cramped in a cheap apartment. ('Specially since most of the cheap ones are one bedroom.) So best of luck, have fun!
By the way, my sims game isn't connected to the internet, so I cannot provide a pre-made family, all set up or anything. No idea how I'd manage it. But I'd still love to see how you guys handle it!
+20 for every A+ report card.
+15 for every promotion any age.
+10 for every talent badge.
+10 for every skill maxed.
+5 for maxing cooking, cleaning, or mechanical.
-5 for every skill point lost.
-10 for any fire started.
-15 for every demotion.
-20 for a failing grade. (D's.)
-25 for being fired!!
:!:-All points if you cheat in any other way then mentioned :!:
This is my first challenge, tell me what I did wrong if it's considered bad please!
