cannot find .package files ingame, tired everything on FAQ, all seem corrupted?

alright, i downloaded http://www.sexysims2.com/showthread.php?t=172989

and a few others but only but the one above in C:\Users\ryannathans\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads without renaming or anything, just extracted the .package file to there, it is the only file in there, its like 1mb

run the game (sims 2 with ALL stuff packs and expansions), this content does not require a mesh

all my options are set to allow custom content, go to create sims, content not there, restarted game like 12 times, reinstalled everything, still problems, SEE THEM 2 .package files work when placed in this same folder. USING NO HACKS

after running the game after having package files in the folder, ALL PACKAGES (except SEE THEM 2) are now all 1KB and no longer 1000kb+, same thing happens on all content i download

what to do?

oh and i have only ever downloaded a female skin and a few new clothings

That's labeled as a Sims 3 download, even though it's in the Sims 2 section. I think See Them may have freaked out when it ran into it. "It's a .package, so I should know what to do, but what the heck do I do? Maybe I should move this over here?"

Unfortunately, it sounds like it's been corrupting other packages as well. I hope taking the sims 3 package out will fix things, but you may need to redownload it along with everything else.
