Windows for skyscrapers?

So.... I'm playing around with a new neighborhood, because I can't seem to stop building. :/

And I need some [6-7] good skyscrapers. I've built them using a CFE cheat method, but that only give me like five or less floor to actually put windows on. What is the best way to make it look like there are windows on the other floors? I assume it would be to paint them on, but I have no idea how to do that. So if someone could point me in the way of a tutorial I've missed and what program[s] I might need, that would be greatly appreciated.

And here's a screen of the skyscrapers and one of the whole town, since I'm sure you might be curious.

BTW, the skyscrapers are pretty much just decoration on one certain island [though the world isn't really an island world]. so they won't get in the way too much, I don't think. The B&J office will be over there and the stadium, and maybe the police station.

Try placing full-length mirrors all around, instead of windows. It should make them shiny like ones in real life.

In TS3, you can pull up walls to more than the standard height without destroying the wallmasks of windows. Maybe you could exploit that – make each floor about 40 clicks high, and use two-story windows on them (I'm sure there must be modern-looking two-story windws somewhere out there?). Or even just make the walls 24 clicks or so and then use regular full-height windows – they'll have more space than usual between each floor, but I don't think it would look too odd.

It would still not really be a scyscraper, but at least noticeably higher than the other houses.

If you look at the tutorial linked you will see it is on making custom walls. This is how the previous poster is getting "window" on a deco skyscraper.

yeah but its very difficult for me! & there it says about adding walls for sims 2 to sims 3 not make walls with windows :/ i really need it what can i do ...i want simple steps because i dont know very good english!

The windows they make are just deco as HugeLunatic says. You can just use a regular EA wall and make silvery looking texture to it.

when i build my skyscrapers, i change the wallpaper to a flat shiny metal.
