uploading houses

Sorry if this is in the wrong category. I tried to find the right one but this one seems to best suit it for what I could find.

I want to upload a house I just made but there's some recolors on the floors and a rug. It's all in game though as I haven't added any meshes/items in the game yet.

I was wondering since it's meshes already in the game if the person would still see it or if I need to take it out/change it before uplaoding it?

But, I can answer your question.

I take that you are about to upload a TS3 house. And the recolors you are talking about mean that you have used the CAST tool to colour the already existing game items. There I can say: No, you don't need to take them out. People will see them.

Before you upload here I suggest you read through the creator guidelines (http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=MTS2:Creator_Guidelines/Sims_3_Lots_and_Houses). They make very clear what you can and cannot upload, and what you need to to to get your upload accepted to MTS.
