How to recolor pool?

I am SO frustrated right now!
I'm trying to recolor my pool, and i wanted to know how to change the color of the rim of the pool. not the walls or the floors, but the RIM, where that horrid grey-white lining makes the shape of the pool.
This chick in the picture has a black rim around her pool

How do i do something like that?!
i was thinking about putting a fence up, but that would only keep them from entering!

Many have been talking about these edges before. I can't really see it but I would be looking at replacing the walls and floors with something without that rim, or remake the tiles that is.

If you're talking about a rim between the walls and the floors, I would think of putting down 1 of those tiny edges in fences and put down the ladder on top with moveobjects on.
