The only requisites are that one family member have at least gold aspiration level, a resurrect-o-nomitron, and the omgwtfbbq mod by Pescado.
Roasted babies do not generate a gravestone yet they can still be resurrected as long as whoever is grilling knew them prior to their first sauté. So I have my buddy Link Snausage serve up endless portions of roast baby for everyone.
The nice thing is that the Fun and Social Needs can be met with the baby morsel prior to grilling by Cuddling or Playing With. You can safely ignore the little ham's whining and stinky diaper changing too. They grill up all the same stinky or clean -- just make sure you do not let the social worker take the meal..er, kid away. Then whenever your simpeeples are hungry just dial up another bouncing baby roast via. the resurrect-o-nomitron.
I dream of a modded version of the omgwtfbbq which will work indoors. Along with a custom modded crib/aquarium/resurrect-o-nomitron -like those lobster tanks you see in seafood restaurants. Once the last hammy slice is served then another cherub resurrects automatically inside the tank fresh and ready to be grilled up.
It'd be nice if toddlers could be served up via. the omgwtfbbq but baby hams are adequate.

I'm sure I wouldn't ever do this. Very sick and depraved. But somehow, I found this part extremely humorous. It is just a game.
Didn't make me sick at all, and I was eating spaghetti at the time. Although I did find it difficult to continue eating because I was laughing so hard about grilling a stinky baby.
Maybe I should be concerned that this doesn't disturb me.
Nope.

Like I said in another thread which discussed the baby grill, I could never do this to a sim baby in my game purely because they would have laughed, coo'd and smiled a lot before the event. The concept is funny but in practical terms I couldn't live with myself to follow it through, even though it IS just a game! :)
When my babies are born in game, they are born the normal way with mothers going through 3 days of pregnancy followed by the splitting of the plumbob and the sheer joy in her face (and the baby's) when it lands in her arms. To then serve it up for lunch is beyond my comprehension! :)

Even though you're grilling up the hammy chunk.. remember that you can bring the kid back an indefinite number of times via. the resurrect-o-nomitron. And if there was a way to puree the lil roast then you could feed the child their own self in a Smart(er) Milk bottle.
When Sims first came out I posted on EA's site about the injustice of having asbestos babies and toddlers who are indestructible/fire-proof. I'm equal opportunity all around. If gramps can burn in simhell then so can all the tikes. But EA/Maxis were selling to all target markets -so the blur, indestructible kids, and asinine weather simpletons are what we get. I imagine the technical development team were also the ones behind hamsterdance.

Hmmm well besides the fact that they are babies it is also cannibalism not something I really want to witness. I do find the device humorous in theory but could never personally use it. Makes me feel quite queasy really and I certainly don't need the animations adding to that.

Let me say what everyone is thinking. I'm known for being blunt like that.
Please Swillfly, change your avatar and start posting about some general Sims2 stuff. You really don't want to be known on this board as the baby-abusing, pedophile, old fart. (Not that I am saying you are, but the impression is starting to tip that way.) There are people under 18 around on this board. Show some interest in some more innocent aspects of the game too. If you got like a 100 non-abusive posts, you can slowly start revelling in Sim-torture again and we won't think anything weird of it.
I mean, when you're at a party and you can't figure out who is the creepy old drunk guy, it is usually yourself.

Not saying that I don't understand the joys of sim abusing. I just take it to MATY instead. Since that is the home of the Simpocalypse and they don't have 12s there.

As a practical note, it costs more to resurrect a sim than it does to fill the fridge.
If you've got Seasons and OFB you can never touch the fridge by adding a pond and opening a home business, then inviting all your customers to fish in it. If you set up a ticket machine, they will happily pay you for the privilege of giving everything they catch to you. And you can cook fish straight from inventory.

Considering the effort that goes into getting the resurrect-o-nomitron in the first place (University + finding a job in the Paranormal career and unlocking the career reward), it's clear that cooking from the fridge is considerably less effort for the Sim and the player. Unless you're cheating to get the career reward, in which case you might as well just cheat to keep the hunger bar full, instead. Going to so much effort to be grisly is done merely for the sake of being "shocking," not for some satirical effort to dodge the game mechanics. We don't shock that easily.

Do you find it funny to joke about 9/11? I live in New York and I know what panic was that day and how many people died and other people suffered for the ones who died. So shut up :!:

The practicality of constantly shoveling over at least a grand per ham resurrection is a limiting factor, true. Course I always motherlode em up so they can have the finer things in simlife. And no shock intended either Mangaroo. Merely sharing simpeeple stuff I'd come across.
But appelsapgodin does bring up an interesting point. Yes, I believe I will change my avatar and censor myself here because 12s (and overly sensitive >12s) are everywhere. I would gladly have brought up these sim musings on MATY but Pescado's registration is borked, thus I came here. I thought about re-trying at Pescado's but then I think not because I spend too much time with this vidiocy anyhow.
But I do not wish to add more anomie to the 12s already scrambled eggs. Thanks for pointing that out appelsapgodin -sometimes I forget who all is out there.

People who call other people "overly sensitive" are hypocrites. I strongly doubt that such a person is immune to being frightened or disturbed themselves. They can't deal with their own fears so they go around trying to shock other people.

"Apologize", for referencing the word 9-11 in a joke after how many years now? and believing maybe the 10-20 thousand people actually directly affected by the attack would be off-site and the rest of the people would take it as a joke, and not as say building a mosque on ground zero?
Oh yeah my one comment was definitely what pushed america over the edge as opposed to south park and family guy's much more direct approach, who by the way, beat me to it
your comment proves how stupid we really are, by taking things out of context and believing everything to be a direct attack on America :|

Interesting challenge. I get the intended morbid sense of levity with cuddling the baby then putting it on the grill to cook it while casually whistling a tune. My problem is that the baby can be resurrected. This implies that no harm has been done to the baby, and instead the sim has eaten a placeholder. I saw a video on YouTube of omgwtfbbq. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG2EQEsGFCc There is no violence of pain nor consequence, the disturbing effect of the imagery is in what casual a process it discloses. There is no delightful squeal of agony as the infant is set on the sizzling grill. It's the idea that causes a sense of uncomfortable humor, nothing more. And the question is, if the baby can be resurrected then what becomes of the meal inside the sim's stomach? How does cooked baby uncook itself and return to its previous, unchewed state?

@ jodemilo, The avatar is not Michael Jackson ( although he did look scary at times ) this avatar is the popular American actor Christopher Walken who played in movies such as Sleepy Hollow and The Dead Zone.
But yes I think it is really sick that anyone would use this Mod and roast a baby. I have always question the kind of mind of those who use it and J.M. Pescado for making this mod he must have been taken over at the time by aliens when he made it. But everyone play their game differently I do not approved of the mod myself, but it's their game, and choice.

Why is stuff like this considered "sick" and "depraved" yet there is a thread where you all share your favorite "torture techniques" for sims? I don't see the difference.
That said, I have nothing against this kinda stuff but I prefer the "shiny happy plastic world" kind of gameplay so I don't kill/torture sims and I avoid making them "suffer". And I prefer my sims eating tasty-looking food, so there's that too :)
