I want to make tsuggas non creased pants mesh a repository item, so that they take their textures from maxis recolors. The tutorials are pretty easy to follow but since they're for objects, I'm having some trouble.
For clarification, I am following this tutorial (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=229452), and I am treating tsugga's mesh as the 'slave object' to the maxis base pants. I am using Plasticbox's repository clothing files as a guide.
In the tutorial, under editing the GMND, the directions state:
In the Content tab under Geometric Node, there is a drop-down menu called Blocklist. Open that and see if there is an entry called “tsMaterialsMeshName”. If there isn't, you need to add one. (If it's there already, you can jump to step c ). To add it, click on the Edit Blocks tab, select “tsDataListExtension” from the drop-down menu and click Add.
However, this was not done in Plasticbox's file. I am guessing the tsMaterialsMeshName is only for objects?
Also, I noticed that Plasticbox didn't alter the names in the scenograph, or that she (he?) had replaced the resource files with files from the original mesh. The instances are the same. So can I just extract the resource files from the maxis mesh and replace the resource files of the tsugga clone I made? And from there, begin on the recolor packages?
