I really hope someone here can help me, I've gone through so much work trying to make sure everything works, and according to every search I've run, I'm the only one who has this problem. :faceslap:

So I downloaded some stuff, and then got the Sims 2 Hack Conflict Detection Utility (HCDU). Only, I can't scan it. I keep getting this error message:

Sims 2 Hack Conflict Detection Utility - Version 2.00.03
Error: 53
File not found: SWsupport.dll
Module: modSimsPackage
Procedure: gfstrDecompressFile
Location: 3000
Install Path: C:\Users\Desktop
Data Path: C:\Users\Documents
Sims Path: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Deluxe\Base\

The bar will fill up half way, and then just stop & this pops up. Someone please please please help me );
& I'm sorry if this is in the wrong spot ;x I'm new here even though I've had this account for a long time, it's only my first time posting. :faceslap:

We can't support third-party software. You need to get support from the creator. However, I suspect that you are missing a DLL. Be sure to read the installation instructions over completely.

I'm sorry, what is a DLL? I apologize completely if I come off as dumb or annoying :/

A DLL is a separate file which contains additional code. The utility requires code from that DLL to run, so if it can't find the DLL, it will give you an error.

My ZIP file contains the HCDU executable, a readme text file, and a DLL file (also known as an Application Extension). If you try to run the EXE directly from the ZIP file, then the EXE will not be able to find the DLL. You need to unzip everything into a folder on your hard drive and then run the EXE from there.

No need to apologize; we all have different skill levels and need help sometimes.
