What kind of techniques do you creators have when taking good pictures of sims that you wish to upload? (or photo of the stuff that the sim has on, etc) :)
Rule says no taking pictures of the sim in CAS. Tho I wonder why not since that's the best place to get good look at the sim.
Do anyone here use photoshop to blend pics together or anything like this?

Actually, CAS isn't the best place to get a look at the sim at all. The face of the sim in CAS is distorted by default - the way they smile distorts their features. Awesomemod corrects this, but we can't require people use core mods just to take pics of their sims.
The best place to take a picture is inside a fully-enclosed room with lots of lighting in different places (i.e. a couple overhead lights as well as floor lamps to the left, right, and front of the sim). Don't take pictures outside, no matter how you light it - it looks terrible.
I take all my pics in a white room. No furniture, no decorations, no wall patterns, nothing. The focus of the picture is then the sim/hair/whatever, not anything else.
Photoshopping and blending and blah when you're uploading something is a bad idea. You want to show what it will look like in-game, not show off how you can 'shop your pics. All you should be 'shopping is cropping and resizing.

The room photo sounds really good, thanks for idea :) About CAS if I do have awesemod then can I also take pictures there or still no?

Nope. Still need to take them in-game. What a sim looks like in CAS is pretty irrelevant, really, since how they look in-game is what downloaders are gonna care about. :)

So there is a big difference in CAS and in game. Okay then I got it :)
