Steampunk Dream

hello. Firstable I want to say that English is not my fist language so sorry about speeling mistakes ect I hope you understand.:) Three days ago I was really inspired by steampunk sims 3 hauses build by ninotchka (http://www.modthesims.info/member.php?u=3655762) but as well I was quite dissapointed that we dont have a steampunk hauses for The Sims 2. Yes, I found some on the internrt but that wasn't a hauses what I imagined so I decided build my own steampunk house.
I cannot provide you the floor plans for the simple reason: there isn't a floor plan :lol: Every time Im starting continuing building I'm changing something and getting new ideas. I hope that wont be a problem to get a feedback from you.

Before I add pictures I must say : this is a very beggining in this hause and I have no idea how long it will take me to finish it because I want to make it special and perfect.But I want to show you how it looks so far and know what do you think about it. And please be gentle this is my fist build hause ever

ok I finally finished hause shape.In the beggining that tower was only decorative, but now Sims are able to climb to the highest level ! :) I tested all leadders in hause and they work proper. I will start furnishing hause again I find some cool stuff :) I also work a little on the terrains , that was really hard for me but I still dont like it much..
Please tell me what do you think about this hause? I really want some opinions :)

I absolutely love it! I love the kind of dark and rusty vibe from it!

The only thing that is a little off is the terrain. While you did a good job on it, I think the house itself is quite dark and has a lot of contrast. I think it might be better to have a little bit darker of terrain, and continue it to the back of the house to see if it looks good. I'm no expert on the terrain, so I don't know what will look good or not,lol, but you did such an amazing job on the house!

Fresh prince thank you very much for your comment! I paint terrain darker but I don't know is this look better? I blend some of this (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=323857) and base game terrains. And I dont know should I paint all ground to look like cracked ground or blend it a little with grass? please advice! :) becouse I placed this lot on a desert world so I'm unsure that grass will look good..

I changed the fridge and find a nice table.Chairs from base game, I dont want to put to many cc in this house, anyway it still will be a lot of them. what do you think?

I think it looks great. I don't play a lot with desert lots myself so I can't say much about the landscaping, but maybe it would look good with some more plants or trees?

The study and balcony are especially gorgeous. Do you remember where you got the wallpaper and floor from?
