I finally got around to doing this, but it seems they cannot be used. I got my sim to use it by removing 1 tile at the side of the pool. That tile then probably had it's original shape. Do you know of any way to fix this?

I'm confused. Can you elaborate on the problem? Like, removed 1-tile from where? When you say "cannot be used," I assume you mean sims refuse to get in?

I don't really like features that can't be used. That's the problem.
I have decided to try and put in a tile of pool at the edge of the pool, like I did earlier. I just don't know if I can prevent it from looking like an elephant. I was just wondering if someone had another solution for me.
Ben have you tried making a infinity pool? She just stands there and taps her feet. I have talked to another guy who made a tutorial, and he just sacrificed that part. I'm not prepared to do that. I rather make it a regular pool.
Oh sorry :) It was actually kind of funny. I just added a tile of pool beside it, and she just entered the pool. Not in that square I added, no in the infinity pool. I didn't see any change to the pool itself, like going back to it's original shape or something. I will have to explore this further. I might have just overlooked something.

I found a solution myself, very easy. Just added a tile to it later and she jumps in, np. I just can't believe it's this easy, this just has to be over by the morning

No I haven't. Actually, I'm not even sure what an "Infinity Pool" is. I tried to find out by looking up some YouTube videos, but even that didn't make much sense.
So basically, it's a pool that has a wall for one or more edges of the pool? Am I understanding this correctly?

BenC0722, an "Infinity edge pool" or "infinity pool" is a pool with a side that dips below the normal elevation of the pool floor such that it appears to have no end. (Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity_pool)) The water typically just slides into a trough and is pumped back into the pool.
This picture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Infinity_pool.JPG) (larger version (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e6/Infinity_pool.JPG)) demonstrates the effect well. See how the pool water seems to converge with the ocean in the far background? You'd feel like you could just swim out to sea. :)

Thank you very much. For some reason, I thought it was a Sims-specific concept, which is how I missed that Wiki article.

Forget about that solution. It made my simmy go swimming on the stone floor. I'm just happy I made her go to bed the regular way. I made a regular pool instead, at least it's working.
