I had discovered a wierd problem. I did look in the FAQ section but did not find anything matching. If I did missed something please link me. Sorry for mush text and my bad english.
Thrugh the last months I had discovered that my game runs a little stange. First, I did think that the problem was my big collection of downloads but that can only be half of the issue.
The a sim (or a family) is at home everyhing runs almost good but if a sim visits a community lot the game slows down and do alot of "micro freezing". Notice, my game always freez a few secunds the a sim arrive to a lot, (any lot) but I had this "problem" since I installed my 2'nd EP. And that was some years ago. But now it's worse. If I press "Pause" I can rotate the screen image whitout problems.
Then there is an other problem. Sometimes my game "kicks me out". The game does not close down but it minimise I return to windows and have to klick the "buttom" at the screen to get back. I don't have the time to play for so long so let's say the game runs for 1-2 houers in a row. This problem is not connected to the game it self so it can accure in any situation on any lot. And it only accures sometimes.
I do not have other graphic issues in the game and my computer runs good in all other situations. I can surf the net, play videoclips, watch tv (tv card) and so on so I really don't know what the problem is. I did clean the fan on the videocard today and I did update the softwear. My videocard does not get hot, just around 40* celsius and that's "cold" for a GPU. My PSU is almost new (february) and is installed by a computer store and they know how many watts my computer whit all it's parts need.
So, if any one knows what the problem might be here I will be very happy for a reply to this tread. All my EP's is patched and I did run Defrag on my computer so the files would not spread out so mush. :help:
