Can I Run It?

Hello!


I want to know if I will be able to run Sims2 basegame on my 5935g Acer laptop without any issues.

Here are my system specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8700 @2.53GHz
4096 MB RAM
63MB nVidia GeForce GT 130M

I'm posting this because I had previously installed all expansions up to Open for Business and I kept getting bluescreens within seconds! And my video card worries me a bit too.

The card is not the greatest for Gaming, but it does meet the criteria for Sims 2, and it rated a Green "Yes" across the board on our wiki page (see my signature, if you haven't checked this page before from the sticky). But with all low-end components on a laptop, there comes a time when simple wear and tear from overheating and overstressing, takes a toll.

How long have you been playing Sims on this laptop and how long is a typical play session?
When was the drivers last updated? Windows Updates? DirectX?
When you get BSODs, did you take note of the STOP codes and research what those codes mean?
