The point of this challenge is to have two sims date for the month of November without saving any of your play sessions. Play as you normally would but once the simclock strikes twelve, exit the lot and start again.
Prologue: "Trick or Treat"
On their way back from a hot date on Halloween night, two lovestruck sims unwittingly decided to sneak into a public historical building for a 'lil somethin somethin' before bed. The building turned out to be private property and unfortunately for them, the Crumplebottom estate.
At first Mrs Crumplebottom considered calling the SimCity Police Department so they could be charged for breaking and woohooing. And then a thought crossed her mind.
Why not curse them for eternity?
Act 1: "We Were Made for Each Other"
Because of Mrs Crumplebottom's curse, sims that were "meant to be together" will have to re-meet each other each time you play. Create or pick two sims that have never met and choose the one you'll be playing for an entire month. If one of them happens to be a townie, you will be stuck with the CAS sim by default.
We will now refer to them as soulmates.
They can go on dates and fall in love but since you're not saving after each play session, all will be forgotten by midnight. It is now your job to assume the role of destiny and bring them together.
Act 2: "First Time for Everything"
Your sims don't necessarily have to ask each other out on dates but make sure they spend enough time together to develop a romantic relationship.
Add one point for every event listed below:
Sim meets their soulmate
Sim has a crush on their soulmate
Sim falls in love with their soulmate
First date with soulmate
First kiss with soulmate
First woohoo with soulmate
Committed relationship (soulmate)
Engagement (soulmate)
Marriage (soulmate)
Every dream date with soulmate
Breakup with any other sim
Subtract one point for every event listed below:
Sim has a crush on any other sim
Sim falls in love with any other sim
First date with any other sim
First kiss with any other sim
First woohoo with any other sim
Committed relationship with any other sim
Engagement (any other sim)
Marriage (any other sim)
Every dream date with any other sim
Breakup with soulmate
Sim death
Soulmate death
Act 3: "Have We Met?"
The more your sims spend time together, the more they start to remember. You might get at least 5 points for each play session but you'll want at least 10 points for it to be "memorable" enough to count as one date.
10 points = 1 date
500 points = 50 dates
Dream dates can help you gain extra points since you get one point for each one and not just the first.
Act 4: "Kiss My Bottom, Crumplebottom"
Mrs Crumplebottom should have known better than to try and fight fate. After 50 first dates your sims finally break the curse and all the memories come flooding back. The first kisses, the shotgun weddings and every single page of the Woohoo Sutra that they've managed to explore.
Once you've reached 500 points you may save every play session to continue their story.
Tips:
I would recommend playing a single sim to avoid having to deal with affairs and breakups. But if you do start with a sim that is romantically involved with a sim that isn't their soulmate, you get one point for breaking up with them. Terrible, I know. You can also buy the love potion from the gypsy matchmaker to speed things up.
