I'm building my very first house with plans for uploading but I have a problem with my roof that really needs fixing if I'm going to share this house.
It's a 4 bedroom (easily turned 5 or even 6 bedroom) house with a attached barn (4 stables)
On the original house plan the barn was a 3 car garage.
It's a work in progress so tips/suggestions are welcome!

the back: http://i891.photobucket.com/albums/ac120/LarissaCullen1/fancyfarmhouse1.png

I've finished the outside walls and was playing around with the roofs when I noticed that I have a problem with my roof connecting to my deck:
There is a hole in my roof/wall and the roof also over lapses my deck:faceslap:

over lapse: http://i891.photobucket.com/albums/ac120/LarissaCullen1/fancyfarmhouse4.png
How can I fix this? Preferably without custom content.

The roof will do that, because it always goes a bit further out then the wall it's on. You just have to work around it. You could use a 1/4 cfe wall there. I don't know if you have ever tried the cheat "constrainfloorelevation true/false". There is a lot of video's on youtube and also tutorials here on MTS. Since it's on your roof it's not gonna ruin anything above it, but you have to build a column of walls from the ground.

The wall you use have to be the same story/floor/level as your little 1/4 wall there will be. So the columns has to be at the same level, so build a column to that hight using walls. You have to dig your column down into the ground. 3/4 walls down, that will be 3 staircases down I think.

If you want feedback on your house, you should post in the feedback section. Post your pictures there, not just the links.
