I wanted to see how I could improve on making sims. Is there any "trick" to making them look almost exactly like the celeb, as in sims 2? I think I am pretty good at using the sliders, but my ideas are maxed out on this one.

Also, what are some tips on taking good pictures with the lighting, etc. I know the basics but not much else. Thanks for your help.

Try taking a picture with a neutral facial expression. No smiling, no nothing. Move the hair out her face so that we can see all of her face to critique. Side profile shot helps too. Make sure the pictures are close up shots that are large enought for us to see the details you might need to fix.

As for the sliders, I would recommend a mod that increases the slider range and one that increases the number of custom sliders allowed in game. I personally use aWT's hack that cares of both, but his site is closed to the public. You might need some custom sliders to get her down accurately. I use some of aWT's sliders and Ahmed's facial sliders.

EDIT: Also, you need to use a larger photo for referrence. The one you have is too small. Make it a shot of her with a neutral expression.

Do you think I could make a better courtney cox out of my sim? I think I will try this. Any advice?

I can definately see Sophia in your sim, so I think you should continue on her and not Courteney.

I'd have to agree, she doesn't really look like a courteney. I can see it in her, there is a bit of a resemblance there.
Although I would like a Courtney sim in my game!
