Good Messenger Bags for School

Hi! I'd really appreciate some help here. I'm looking for a messenger bag for college, so that means I need it to be relatively giant. Preferably with the ability to carry a few thick books at once, and hold my computer in its case (it's a 17.3 inch laptop in a snug fitting case). I really need to keep this as inexpensive as possible. Something semi-fashionable is nice, but not necessary. Any suggestions?
