i'm making a mesh with an alpha skirt and i'm having trouble with clipping in the legs.

the skirt and legs have matching vertices and identical bone assignments. i also tried adding bones from the opposite leg. but nothings working. :help:

You might want to rig it so that one half is rigged to the L-thigh and the other is rigged to the R-thigh and make the very middle 50/50 for the R&L thighs... but this may look kind of jagged when she moves her legs too far apart, Like running and stuff.

or you could make the blending of the thighs much harder and closer to the middle.

In short the more the thighs blend in the middle region, the more clipping you will get.

ok thank you. one other question? do you know what the difference is between the thigh and shorts bones? there are some instances where both of these bones are assigned to the same vertice.

i recall reading somewhere that if you assign the opposite leg it shouldn't be weighted more than 12%. i'll try the 50/50 method in the middle of each thigh and see what happens.
