Sims2packinstaller not downloading.

I just joined this sight and learned how to download content yesterday. I have the basics down pretty well, but I can't get Q-xpress or cleaninstaller to download and install. I don't know what I'd run it with to begin with and I when I try either nothing happens, or I get text in a really weird alien language. Any help would be appreciated. Also I have a mac if that helps any. Thank you.

I believe that Q-xpress is obsolete.

To run the Clean Installer on a MAC, you'll need the no-install version.

It's underneath the installer version, "Sims2PackInstaller_NoInstall.zip".

Well, I clicked on it and it wouldn't run, alien language came up again and I clicked all the EXE ones. It seems like it should be so obvious but I'm just not getting it.

The Clean Installer is a Windows program, so you're going to need to do some extra work to get it to run on a MAC.

Did you extract everything from the ZIP file to a new folder on your hard drive?
