I have heard that sims can't re-do the vacation adventures once they are done in a game. So if you have one sim that has maxed out his visa levels and bought homes, what happens when he dies? Will his children and grandchildren not be able to raise visa levels?

I just got WA and it's on it's way here, so I'm curious.

You can raise visa levels with the minor "Get me 6 turquoises" type quests as well as the dungeon delving quests. (Which means it's worthwhile to keep a large stock of uncut gems, fish, and miscellaneous bugs in your inventory. Keep a backup save from before you left on vacation, because there is a possibility that you will get cleaned out when you come home.)

Vacation homes are associated with the household, so they will pass on to whomever is still in that family when the other sims dies.

As for the inheritor's visa level : They will not be able to purchase another house until they reach level 3, but you should be able to use the ones the family already owns.

Here is a funky question. My sims are starting a new house for every generation. The old sims will stay in the house they were born in and the kids will get their own homes. Will they inherit even though they don't live in the house? I THINK I've seen a sim inherit his mother's book royalties this way in a game, but I want to be sure.

The Sim who lives in a different household won't inherit the vacation home.

I made a couple in CAS who had two children. The daughter moved to a different lot to start her own family and the son married and had his children on the same lot as the parents. When the parents died, the son had use of the vacation home his parents had bought in France, but the daughter had to buy her own.

Yes, I think we need property deeds back.

Visa levels are individual and non-inheritable. Vacation homes are properties of the household, much like fambly funds. They do not inherit across household boundaries, and can be lost if the household is disbanded.
