Short Question - WCIF a window/door/arch cutout that allows me to place a garage door on a "first floor" wall which is as tall as the foundation, and then place this cutout on the "main floor" to basically make the wall appear correct?
EDIT: My goal is a to get rid of the "extra" wall that shows through as seen here:

Long Question - So, I'm not exactly sure how to phrase what I'm asking, but here goes:
As many know, you can attach a garage to a foundation-based house using CFE cheats. One of the problems with this method is that you are stuck with nasty slanty walls either where the garage meets the house (like http://youtu.be/4eNPbHC2K1w?t=1m), or around the garage door (like http://youtu.be/w90xq7FfAtk?t=3m12s). This obviously greatly limits wallpaper selection in these areas. It also prevents a uniform foundation wallpaper around the house.
I happened to be looking at this tutorial (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=350293) and I came up with an idea. Using moveobjects on, you can overlap the two windows to make what appears to be a floor-to-ceiling window. My idea is that, instead of using two windows, what if you put the garage door in the bottom wall (the one as tall as the foundation) and put a window/door/arch cuttout tha basically does nothing more than aesthetically remove the wall (the way the garage door should) so that the garage door looks like its been installed in a full wall. Before I make this, I want to see if anyone else has.
It would basically be nothing more than a fully transparent, no-frame window (I'm thinking the window would be preferable), the shape of the garage door. I'm not sure if this would let you still walk through the garage door (there might be some routing issues), but aesthetically it would look fine.
