Hey everyone.. maybe I am just extremely daft, but I cannot seem to figure out how to move a sim I made in with her boyfriend.. :S

So I made a woman called Jane. She had an affair with Thornton Wolff, they got caught by Morgana (i think that's her name haha) and she broke it off with him pretty quickly and started dating Gobias. (In the matter of days haha) Anyyway, when I visit the Wolff household with Jane, Morgana is still living there, which is fine with me because for some reasons she's not upset with any of them it seems. However, Jane cannot move in with them.

When I ask to "move in", it gives me the option to have Thornton and Jane move out to either her home (or perhaps a new lot, I forgot to check) leaving Morgana with the Wolff-house...Whatever I did, I could not move her out and have my sim move in with him. :-S

Then I tried using the phone to move Jane out of her own house and in with Thornton (and Morgan) but I could only choose empty houses/lots.

So... is there no actual way of my own sim, Jane, to move in with this household? Isn't that kinda bizarre to not include? Do I need to use like, a cheat or something? :\ I hate going into Edit Town and such cause I'm afraid my sim will lose her promises or something.

I think you do have to move her out and then go to Edit Town to "merge" her family into the Wolff family. There is a chance that Thornton could ask you to move in, but I don't think you should count on that, considering Thorntons traits.

If you enable testingcheats, you can shift+left click on Thornton and Morgana and choose "add to active family" that will add them to Jane's family, or if playing the Wolff's on Jane to add her to them.
Enabling testingcheats is done by (incase you didn't know) pressing ctrl+shift+c, that will open a bar on the top of screen, in there type testingcheatsenabled true, to disable it again do the same but type testingcheatsenabled false.

Either that or switching to Wolff family and making Thronton to ask her to move in. I guess that it's not possible to move into someone's house single sim (if she's alone and has no one living with her).

Ah so in the end I will have to go into Wolff's family (or in Edit town to merge etc) to be able to move in with the Wolff household. Hmm.. bah strange really. I was just assuming it would be possible to move your active sim into a household, by asking to move in etc. :-s

Blarh, darn Thornton and his annoying traits yet luxurious house, haha!
