I added a second story onto a one bedroom house for my sims. I've tried several ways and even search the interweb without must success. How in the world do I get rid of the overlapping part of the roof where the arrow is?

Also I added shudders to the outside but they dont seem to show up on all the floors, only the floor that is selected. Like, if I go up to the roof level and even when I zoom out to see the whole house, they disappear. But when I go down a floor the second story they show but not the first floor, go down to the first floor, the second story ones dont show but the first ones do.... why? is it because its a window treatment from the curtains buy section and not a build window selection? If so CC ones would probably fix this huh?

Thanks in advance :)

Have you tried going into video options and turning "object hiding" off?

This will normally hide objects that aren't on the same floor as the camera.

I don't think you can :/ since it's the part of the main roof.. Maybe you can try narrowing the main roof?

Well, I hope someone with a better knowledge than me about building in The Sims can help you, good luck!

That double roof I don't think there is much to do about. You could try building the one in the middle first, but I don't see how that's gonna work either. One thing you could do is building the middle roof as a slight addition to the house, a bit out from the main wall.

Thanks for you help peeps.

Ill have to try the "object hiding" off and see if that works. Thanks Tee Hee.

Ive tried building the middle part first with no luck. I extended it out one tile but it messes up the small first floor roof giving it a flat top like a floor. So I dunno lol, I'll keep searching though, thanks again fellow simmers. :)
