Family is one of the most important things in your life. When you grow up, you begin to think of your future and somewhere far away from you family..
You forget...you regret...you live without.
This is the story of a photographer, who has been taking pictures ever since he was a kid, in search of his father. Join his journey and you will see the mistakes and the choices he makes in return.

:!: If you are confused about what just happened, read below:

:alarm: Spoiler Zone!
John Grance is a photographer. He's been in to photography ever since he was a child. The short film begins with John and his father taking a family portrait. If you notice, his mother left his father and they are the only one's left in the family. John, after the picture, plays around with his dad's camera until he begins to find interest in it. The exposition kicks off and shows John as a young adult, still pursuing his future in photography. As he makes his way around his home town to find his father, he stumbles upon an abandoned house. John thinks it would b great to get some pictures of the house inside and out. John does so and discovers a picture of his father...and that's when it comes to him.. this abandoned/burnt down house is his! All the memories overwhelm him.. later on, John is seen as a little kid on the swings with his father..and then the scene goes back to John in the present time. He sits on his old swing when he suddenly sees his younger self near the lake. He runs toward his younger self, but then he's gone. Out of nowhere.. disappeared.. when John looks around he spots his father with his younger self..but obviously it's too late.. his entire family is gone.
-I'll leave the rest for you to figure out.. remember.. if your future gets in the way.. sometimes your family will be nothing to you..until they are gone. :alarm:

I hope you enjoy this machinima. It took so long to put together! lol

This was really great! I love the speed , the slower motion really adds to the mood and the camera angles and lighting or rather the lack of it ( i always have trouble making a scene look dark and still keep the sims in a decent lighting) your use of hacks for that camera was excellent, just a well done film ^_^

edit to say the garden and scenery is freaking GORGEOUS
