Granny2.dll correct version? :(

Ive downloaded tons of granny2.dll files but none of them is working for me. Its seems almost impossible to find the correct version. I need the one after 2009, but even if im searching all forums, youtube-videos and google i cant seem to find the correct one:(

does anyone have a link to the granny2.dll that is working to fix sims 3 pets glinches?? Pls :(

Save yourself the trouble - use Grant's tool instead, which comes with its own granny2.dll (which won't work with the TSR tool, btw): http://sims3.the-prof.net/forums/index.php?topic=1298.0

Also RigFix and Grant's tool work totally diffrent, although they do about the same thing.
RigFix can scan sims3packs, the files in DCCache and .package-files, while Grant's tool is for .package-files only.

Grant's tool can also be used on .dcb files, though it can't scan files (well - technically it can, but it doesn't have that option available as a separate feature). It doesn't allow you to fix your sims3packs in case of reinstallation of sims3pack CC, however, indeed.

the link u gave me, i tried that but it just doesnt work for me. I downloaded the granny from the website 'dll-files' and i read the posts on the forumlink you gave me wich brought me to a website thats giving the granny2.dll and the rigfix, but also that doesnt work :(
i can try the other tool you recommended but i never heard of it so first i wanna search a little bit about it

You saw Belzader's comment that even with the right dll, the TSR tool still gives an error, but works anyway if you ignore the error?

ok maybe i should explain it more in details. The rigfix is not giving me an error, i can open the program after replacing the granny2.dll. When rigfix is opened theres a first notice about how u should use it, ok thats fine i know;)

BUT in the guides i read this:

'After closing the notice window, a new window will appear telling you that the granny2.dll file has been installed and is OK to use. If you never installed the "Granny Crowd Scene Demo" go back there and do so first. Click Yes to close the popup.'

it says that after this first notice there should pop-up another message that granny2.dll is succesfully installed and ready to use or something.. and i dont get this message :(
If im trying to move on and open the files in the DDcache-folder than nothing appears so i cant do anything..

What kind of problem do i have than? i suppose something with the wrong granny2.dll file right??

I think it's not the exact file it want's, that's why one doesn't get the notice that it's been installed but it's as close one can get (the right one is copyright protected and can't be found any more), and like i wrote in the other thread program works with it.
If you have many or large files in DCCache it takes awhile for program to load everthing, try choose open files instead and do 1by1, also if it doesn't show anything there's nothing related to the rig change.
